now carries the following update with regard to the military toxicologist's presentation that implicates a possible connection between thimerosal and autism, per the AFIP Public Affairs Manager;

"UPDATE, 12/5 - I recently received a response to my query from Paul Stone, AFIP Public Affairs. He wrote that: "Dr. Centeno's presentation, entititled 'Mercury Poisoning: A Clinical and Toxicological Perspective,' did mention Thimerosal. However, its inclusion was specifically intended to point out that although there has been some speculation about a potential association between Thimerosal and Autism, currently there is no data or science to support such a claim. Neither the AFIP nor Dr. Centeno have been involved in or conducted research on Autism."

My comment at AoA applies just as well to whom ever removed the DTaP page from the VHCN site.

My Comment;
The mere fact that Dr. Centeno poses the question implies that the current body of evidence does not disprove the possibility that;

"Exposure to Hg in utero and children may cause mild to
severe mental retardation and mild to severe motor
coordination impairment;
- Autism?
- Dementia?"

as the presentation states.

"Mr. Stone...we don't necessarily take this PDF to mean that AFIP has proven causation. It simply supports what many in the autism community have been screaming for... MORE RESEARCH, as the science has not answered the question.

Bottom Line: Removing the DTaP adverse events page does not resolve the fact that the VHCN has stated on more than one occasion that adverse events seem to go up with multiple vaccinations and the autism/general injury questions have not been resolved.

Case in point; US Army Colonel Renata J. M. Engler, MD, director of the Vaccine Healthcare Centers Network (VHCN) a “collaborative network” of the Defense Department - and the CDC says this, “…However, our work over the past years has been humbling in relation to the knowledge gaps.”

Naming names.. not even our congress & senate do that when things go bad. so good for you Ang and we are all behind you!!!

Your right.. we need to be not afraid, let our voices be heard (loudly) & in numbers to get any action. It’s a said commentary that we actually have to have hearings about this and common sense cannot prevail..but hearings we need and we need people calling/writing their congress/senators demanding it. Demanding it nicely but demanding none-the-less. They say the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I say with one out of every 67 children diagnosised with autism.. we can be pretty squeaky.

We just need them to have a more 'common sense' and stop ordering us around - this do it because I said so mentality doesn’t make any sense... I take that approach with my 2 & 3 year olds sometime – just do it because mommy said so... It’s unacceptable for the USAF to take that approach with us on vaccines.

I wrote to the Pentagon this morning to Eliza Nesmith:

1. She said: “The immunization schedule of the American Academy of Pediatrics is used to support the need for immunizations for the children and youth Air Force has in group care.” I told her: “I don't much care about who endorses this schedule.. I am a common sense person and I care about what me and my pediatrician think is best for my child.”. Quiet frankly, I would not care if a flying cow or Albert Einstein endorsed it – they don’t know my specific child and who are they to over-ride a parent and pediatrician’s decision?

Thanks for continuing to call it like you see it.. vaccine injuries are real, vaccine mandates by the USAF need to be re-addressed ASAP.. I said this in my closing comments to Ms. Nesmith (Pentagon): “There has got to be a happy medium for the Air Force and the parents - it cannot be all one sided where you feel forced to surrender your children to possible great risk/ harm. USAF uses common sense on the battle field - change/adjusting where needed.. what about on the home front?”

I think that with anything that becomes our passion to follow, for whatever noble reasons and I believe that mine are noble as well, we may not see all of the pieces of the grand puzzle. Adjuvants were one of those things for me. But the combinations shots that we give were even more of a surprising implication.

The problem is that I think the DoD and CDC have their hands full with an even greater threat right now, a pandemic. It seems to me that they are scrambling to find the greatest good and do no harm. That is a tough balancing act and I empathize.

The problem with vaccines especially the new third generation ones, the technology is too foreign and all of the implications are not known to most of us. While we may be reducing the adjuvants, what are we embracing this time?

Keep up the good work of keeping people informed, but I urge you to also prepare for what is around the corner.
